ROSES

Happy Memorial Day.

We drove home from a wonderful weekend and look what was waiting for us....

The first roses of the year are finally in bloom.

Oh..... And then there were some weeds too..

Sigh......

IN MY GARDEN

Look who is living in my garden. Bob was mowing the grass one day and he found two little kittens. One blonde one and one gray one - He had them all set up with a bowl of milk & everything when I came home from work. They are soooooooo cute!!!! So cute in fact that I ALMOST wanted to let him keep them in the house. Then my sanity came back to me and I started to realize that we already have a dog - we already have a bird - we DO NOT need two kittens (no matter how darn cute they are.........)
Thank God we did not bring them in because the TWO kittens that we thought there were turned out to be FIVE!!!!!!!
Here they are with their mother.
That are just too cute - But we will just admire them OUTSIDE.........

Happy Easter

What is a nice sign of spring??????? A crocus.



Unfortunately this is the only crocus that came up this year. I really need to buy more.

And speaking of flowers - The Macy's Flower Show is going on right now in N.Y.C.

One problem - THEY DIDN'T TELL ME THEY WERE CLOSING FOR EASTER!!! So all we got to see was the displays in the windows.
Okay - They were absolutely gorgeous but I was NOT a happy camper to find the doors closed.......... UGH!!!

All is not lost - Madame Tussauds was open so even though Bobby was not thrilled (cause he's already seen it ) and Bob thought it was expensive, but finally I got to see the Madame Tussauds Wax Museum.

I thought it was pretty cool.





Some of the figures were great - Some were not so good.
At least I can check it off my list of "Things I wanna see & do"

























After that, it was back home to a nice ham dinner.

All in all, it was a very nice Easter.
